Photo Collages

In early 1990s as I began hand coloring my photographs. I also began cutting them up and making collages. Color photocopies of my collages are available at a modest price.

In 1995 I went to the 4th World Conference on Women's NGO meetings to photograph lesbians from around the world and as a part of my work with an international effort to build wheelchairs in developing countries. Women's wheelchair projects in Uganda and Mexico grew out of this conference. (There are at least 18 lesbians, that I know of, in this collage.)

This collage was made from photographs of various demonstrations in the bay area supporting Mumia Abu-Jamal who is on death row in Pennsylvania. The collage was published as part of Syracuse Cultural Worker's Peace Calendar, 2001.
